BMW Cloud Connect will remind the driver of the departure time through the iPhone or Apple Watch, so as to ensure that they can reach the next destination on time. The system will calculate the appropriate departure time based on the current vehicle location and real-time traffic information.

Via the remote control function of the BMW Connected app (available in the Apple AppStore), numerous vehicle-related functions, such as locking and unlocking the car, can be operated remotely. Like the BMW ConnectedDrive client, the BMW Connected app also provides relevant vehicle information, such as mileage or the status of windows and doors. Programmable air conditioning and charging timers ensure that the BMW i is fully charged and has the right interior temperature when the driver uses the car from Monday to Friday.

The vehicle's current position function makes this information package more complete. The vehicle's position can be notified by honking or flashing, or it can be marked on the map of the BMW cloud connected application. The driver can remotely know all the relevant conditions of the vehicle with just a glance. To use this function, customers need to log in to the BMW Connected Driving client to enable remote services.
