As one of the leading enterprises in the Internet of Vehicles industry in China, Sirun recently shared the commercial application and scale practice of vehicle-road cloud integration in an interview with Wuxi Internet of Things Industry Association.

With the rapid iteration of intelligent connected vehicle technology and the large-scale application of assisted driving, "integration of vehicle-road and cloud" is in a critical period of large-scale application. Sirun launched a new revolution of road traffic with vehicle-road cooperation and new infrastructure, making "smart car and smart road" a reality.

In this interview, Liu Zhijie, deputy general manager of Sirun, had an in-depth discussion on many topics and shared his views on the future trend.

Introduction of main business and highlights

Sirun is a service provider focusing on the digital operation of intelligent and connected vehicles, and is committed to consolidating the service capability of the next generation of 5G Internet of vehicles. Based on the planning and construction goal of establishing city-level Internet of vehicles based on C-V2X, it has many years of deep experience in intelligent and connected vehicle collaboration.

In 2023, we are honored to board the C-V2X competitiveness ranking of gaogong intelligent network manufacturers, among which V2XLink won the first place in the platform operation. In the same year, The intelligent terminal products of Sirun won the first place in the market share of new energy vehicles, and the Intelligent Network open platform obtained the only low code certification of the Information and Communication Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, providing a full guarantee for the "software-defined vehicle" to realize the strategy of independent and controllable platform.

In 2021, we have taken the lead in completing the safety certification of the Ministry of Public Security of the Ministry of Public Technology of the Ministry of Public Security, completed the four-cross promotion verification of the Internet of Vehicles industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and done the planning, design and pilot verification of the five cross-industries before the pilot of cross-city level connectivity).

The company's overseas layout

The predecessor of Sirun was founded to serve the world's largest Internet of Vehicles platform company. Therefore, it has unique advantages in serving international first-line brand customers. We have long served well-known customers such as Volvo, Nissan, Daimler, Volkswagen, Bentley, etc. In June this year, Sirun officially passed the approval of the Ministry of Commerce, and set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in North America, focusing on serving the Internet of Vehicles business needs of local car companies.

Build a global deployment node, and help car enterprises quickly layout global business

In the strategic layout of globalization, Sirun has carefully built four public nodes, respectively located in Germany, Singapore, Brazil and the United States, and set up four additional independent nodes, covering Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Australia (including New Zealand), covering 11 regions and 116 countries in the world. We provide comprehensive cross-border docking services, to ensure data compliance, product certification and other supporting services in the field of intelligent network, to meet the diverse needs of global customers.

 

What role does Sirun play in the integration of vehicle, road and cloud?

First of all, we are the core makers and participants of product planning and the commercial application of business scenarios, laying a solid foundation for the polishing of business scenarios and the connection of business paths in the early stage of construction. In road cloud integration construction, around V2XLink build eight systems (unified equipment access management system, data sharing service system, scene information service system, fusion perception operation system, digital twin cloud map service system, digital security certificate support system, test simulation operation management system, operation and maintenance service system), for localized business practice to provide stable, reliable and efficient unified open support base.

In addition, Sirun is also the innovative practitioner of front installation + scale promotion of standardized business model. We actively explore and promote the implementation of this model, especially in the aspect of C-V2X front installation support, we have successfully opened the front installation and mass production standards of international first-line brands, making an important contribution to the standardization and scale development of the industry.

Views and suggestions on the integrated development of vehicle and road cloud in Wuxi

First of all, Wuxi is the first national pilot area of Internet of Vehicles. Before the pilot of new vehicle-road cloud integration, Wuxi leaders attach great importance to and supervise the supervision. Led by Wuxi Transportation Industry Group, the Internet of Vehicles Industry Development Group Co., Ltd. was established, which laid a solid foundation for the development process of Wuxi Internet of Vehicles.

Secondly, Wuxi has the only advantageous resource of the Traffic Management Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security in China, which has formulated the first specification for the road grade standards of new transportation infrastructure. So we know that the commercialization should be the standard first, which is a premise.

Third, in the process of promoting the integrated development of vehicle, road and cloud, Wuxi has always adhered to the principle of objective and fair market-oriented operation, created a good market atmosphere, attracted and gathered supporting services from the upstream and downstream of the industry, and formed a complete industrial chain. Although there is no local automobile manufacturing enterprise in Wuxi, through the deep cooperation with the core supporting supply chain of automobile enterprises, Wuxi has successfully realized the new industrial attraction and the support of scientific and technological innovation enterprises, and walked out of a unique road of industrialization cultivation.

Future vision and development plan of the enterprise

Sirun will continue to promote the large-scale coverage of C-V2X service of automobile enterprises, and help the development of future intelligent driving business with innovative service mode. Secondly, we are committed to the deep integrated development of intelligent network and vehicle-road collaboration. We adopt the strategy of dual-track parallel, that is, to strengthen the close matching between terminals and cloud, and build an open platform for city-level Internet of vehicles based on connection services.

In addition, Sirun will also actively expand the international overseas business of its own brands, and set up 8 key nodes in 11 regions worldwide around the market layout of international first-line brands, in order to achieve the extensive coverage of basic products. On this basis, we will focus on the local brand building, to provide pioneering service support, to ensure that the brand can be successfully landed and win the market recognition.
